Fair Shake at Enloe
We are always looking for a new angle, a new approach to everything. But, sometimes the problems don’t change; they just get ignored or denied.
That’s where we stand at Enloe Medical Center when it comes to...yes, we’ve heard it before...staffing, job security, wages and benefits. Industry Standards. Is that too much to ask for? It works elsewhere.
Do you think St. Elizabeth's would be part of CHW for long if they couldn’t make a profit while being fair to their employees? CHW would unload the hospital, but fast; that’s for sure!
So, why – in the name of justice and respect – can’t our Enloe administration do the same? We employees are not asking for the world; just the same consideration they, as management, get: a living wage and consideration for a job well done. Sure, they may deserve all that consideration, but so do we, as health care and support staff, deserve to make a decent living for us and our families.
Come on Enloe, loosen up and give out on industry standards, and care for those who care for others. All we ask is a fair shake. Not, "buddy can you spare a dime." Can our administration spare the dime, and the time, for change?
